This brand was born in Flatbush, Brooklyn — in the soil of one of the most culturally rich, resilient, Caribbean-rooted communities on earth. We carry that in every thread. He didn't start a brand. He started a conversation. One that Flatbush needed. One that Black communities needed. One he needed to have with himself first — as a father, as a nurse, as a man who chose healing as both a profession and a philosophy.

Duane is a Nursepreneur — a Critical Care Registered Nurse who understands, more than most, that the body and the mind and the spirit are not separate systems. You cannot heal one without tending to the others. He built BBB Flatbush on that truth.

The idea was simple and revolutionary at the same time: What if a brand existed that treated Black people not as a demographic to market to — but as a standard to honor? What if every product, every piece of content, every offering was designed to elevate rather than exploit?

That question became BBBF. That conviction became the Family Legacy Tree. That father's love became the movement you're now standing inside of.
